Method number 1
In jackets do not always add fluff and feather, sometimes limited to holofiber (substitute). Such a product can be washed entirely. To do this, you first need to fill the bathtub or small basin with cool water. Its temperature should not exceed 30 degrees. Then you need to add a special detergent to it for down jackets and delicate things.

First you need to choose a detergent. Conventional laundry detergent is best avoided. As mentioned above, it is poorly washed and often leaves stains. The best tool is a concentrated gel for washing special fabrics. You can choose another liquid product for delicate products.
The usual dosage of liquid products: 30-35 ml. But if the jacket is too heavily soiled and the water is not soft (medium hard), you can increase the dose to 50-60 ml. There is no size scale on the covers. But usually the floor of the cap is 20 ml, 40 ml is a complete cap. On this basis, one and a half lids will have to be poured.
The water in the machine should be cool: 25 - 30 degrees. The mode is selected according to which washing machine. In some there is a separate mode for washing down jackets. In others this is not, then it is worth choosing "Delicate wash." On some cars, this is the “For Woolen” button.

Before starting the wash, put tennis balls into the machine (pieces 3-4). They should be heavy and medium in size (light and small will not work).
It is advisable not to wash the white down jackets with colored balls, otherwise they will go with white stains. Or stretch the tennis balls separately so that they paint glass. What are they needed for? With their help, the jacket closes better. And during the extraction of the down jacket, the balls will not let the fluff go astray.
Before washing the down jacket in the washing machine, it is necessary to fasten the zipper in the jacket, otherwise it will be deformed during washing. And also all the buttons: they can fly off during the washing process. If there are Velcro on the down jacket, they also need to be closed, since tennis balls will stick to them.
Next, you need to turn the product inside out. In this way, damage to the outside of the waterproof side can be avoided and stains prevented. Pockets are also worth checking: all things and small details must be removed from the jacket before washing.
