Many of us have known the good movie from Schwarz’s play "The Snow Queen" since childhood. In this touching piece there is so much magic that I just want to check it for truth.
But will the storyteller's spell work in life? Does the plot of the Snow Queen itself? Let us recall together a good fairy tale, and at the same time we shall understand, the spells used by its main characters are so fabulous.

Little about the play

Eugene Schwarz’s play The Snow Queen, written in 1938, is an adaptation of the famous fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. The development of the plot of the work is almost identical to the original - a girl named Gerd goes in search of her beloved brother Kay, kidnapped by the mysterious North magician - the Snow Queen. Thanks to the help of friends and good wizards, whom the girl meets on her difficult path, she finds her brother and rescues him from witchcraft, melting his frozen Queen heart with her sincere love. However, some characters appear in the play, which were not in the original plot of the famous fairy tale:

  • Storyteller- A good wizard who helps Gerda in search of Kay's brother, who loves to read fairy tales to children with a good ending. With the help of white magic, helps all those in trouble;
  • Advisor- a mysterious citizen in black clothes with very cold hands. His attention was attracted by the roses, which bloomed on the windowsill of Grandma Kay and Gerda in bitter frost. The adviser wanted to buy flowers, but the grandmother and the children refused to sell them. Then the Counselor complained to the Snow Queen, who eventually kidnapped Kay.

Also, unlike the original, in the play Schwarz, Kay (or Kai) is not Gerda’s sibling and Grandmother’s grandson. However, the adoptive family loves the boy and does not want to give it to the strange guest, who turns out to be the Queen herself.

Eugene Schwarz’s play "The Snow Queen" was filmed in 1966 by director Gennady Kazan. This film was remembered by many generations of viewers not only by the fairy-tale plot, but also by the spells used by his characters. Let's talk more about these magical texts.

What spell did the storyteller from Schwarz’s play "The Snow Queen" use?

Do you remember 3 magic words that the storyteller uttered each time when he needed to once again help someone out of trouble? Of course, this is famous:

"Krible, Krable, Bums!".

This spell is essentially a meaningless set of words compiled by the author of the play. The story of another good fairy taler's spell is richer, which at the end of the play is also pronounced by Little Rogue:

"Snip Snap Snurre,

Purre-Bazilyurre! "

This spell is in the original Danish text of Andersen, which suggests that Yevgeny Schwartz studied the "Snow Queen" in the original. Similar conspiracies are found not only in Anderson, but also in other Scandinavian writers, for example, in Astrid Lindgren in Little Lings Karlson, there is a spell that sounds like this:

"Cnur-re, snur-re, snur-re, wips",

And in Shinken Hop, in the fairy tale “Magic Chalk,” the good wizard casts the following spell:

"Snikka, snakke, snriri."

There is no exact translation of these phrases, but they all mean about one thing - "Light dizziness when I really want to sleep." In the majority of Scandinavian fairy tales, such phrases complete the work similar to the familiar Russian ear, "And here’s the fairy tale is over"

What spell did the Snow Queen use?

According to Schwarz’s play, the Snow Queen is a very powerful witch. One imperative gesture of her is enough to silence another wizard - the storyteller. In order to cast a spell on Kay, the Queen was enough for the boy to kiss her goodbye. As soon as he did, his behavior changed for the worse, and his heart began to freeze. The queen did not use any spells - with her power they were not needed.

If we discard all the fabulousness of the plot and look at the behavior of the Queen from the point of view of esotericism, we can safely say that she used the method black love spell.

Kay's behavior is absolutely consistent with the behavior of the bewitched:

  • The boy became irritable and angry;
  • He began to hurt and cause suffering to his relatives for no reason;
  • Suicide Kay's surrounding environment suffers;
  • As a result, the bewitched boy does not stand up and goes in search of the enchanted Snow Queen.

In turn, little Gerd plays the role of a strong white magician, charged with the energy of love and sincerely believing in the possibility of saving his brother. Gerda also does not use specific spells, but the power of her words and tactile interaction with the bewitched helped the girl to take her brother out of the pathological state into which he was introduced by the Snow Queen. Gerd says about the energy strength that the black spell from Kay was removed without any negative consequences for him. Kay became the former loving and affable boy he was before the kiss of the Snow Queen.

Fabulous spells in real life

Of course, a fairy tale is a good fiction. The spells of the storyteller from the play of Yevgeny Schwarz "The Snow Queen" do not have such life-giving power in life as they possess in the fairy-tale world.

The situation with the Snow Queen is different. The black love spell exists, but in the real world there are too few powerful sorcerers capable of bewitching a person so strongly. At the same time, your loved one was probably the victim of a black love spell, if he suddenly became rude to you, moved away from you, and he developed bad habits. In order not to be in the place of Gerda, who lost Kay and made the hard way to return him, if you suspect a spell, perform the following ritual:

  • Prepare in advance the decoction of Hypericum. This herb helps to remove negative energy bindings. You will also need chicken bone, black and white threads, a candle and scissors;
  • At midnight, on the waning moon, light a candle;
  • Saturate the threads in the broth;
  • Cut a small piece of black and white thread - about 20 cm;
  • Wind the black thread on one half of the bone, on the other white thread, saying:

"I charge the moon white,
bold arm
yes black thread
yes bone is dead!
Depart from the Slave of God
yes the eye is evil
yes breath is stinking,
damn good!
Like a dead bone with the flesh will not reunite -
so the servant of God [the Name] in the morning free will wake up!
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
Amen! Amen! Amen!"

The bone must be broken into 2 pieces. A part with a white thread bury on the right side of the porch of the house spellbound, a part with a black thread - respectively, on the left. The next morning, your loved one will wake up in a cheerful mood, and the fate of Kay from Yevgeny Schwarz’s play The Snow Queen will not threaten him from now on.
