Chickpeas, beans, peas and other legumes are very useful for humans, and from them you can cook very unusual, but very tasty snacks.

Features of the preparation of legumes

A recipe for an amazing and versatile appetizer that can be cooked with chickpeas or beans. She deserves a place even on the festive table. Soak the beans, indicated the amount in dry form.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. beans or chickpeas;
  • 1 onion head;
  • 2 cloves of garlic;
  • 0.5 tbsp. walnut;
  • 0.5 tbsp. peanuts
  • 3 tablespoons of oil;
  • salt, greens.

How to cook

  1. Boil soaked beans or chickpeas to good softness. Drain the water, but do not throw it away yet, it may come in handy. Leave the beans to cool completely.
  2. Fry nuts, pour into a blender, add garlic and grind to gruel or mashed potatoes.
  3. Peel, chop, and fry the onion in oil. It can be left one way or also chopped until smooth.
  4. Grind the cooled beans (chickpeas). Then we combine all the ingredients, stir.
  5. We add salt to taste, you can pepper, check the consistency. From it we will sculpt balls. If the mass is dry, then pour a few spoons of the broth.
  6. We make small balls, put on a plate with greens. Serve to the table can be immediately or first cooled.

You can breed such an appetizer with a large amount of broth, you will get a wonderful paste or filling for tartlets. Also, if desired, we roll each ball in nuts or fried sesame, it is beautiful and very fragrant.

Bean or chickpea appetizer with avocado

The recipe is a very interesting pasta salad made from chickpeas or beans with avocado. Everything is prepared very simply, it turns out interesting and satisfying. If beans will be used, then it is better to choose light varieties.

Ingredients

  • 80 g chickpeas;
  • 1 avocado;
  • 1 tbsp. l lemon juice;
  • salt pepper;
  • some greens.

How to cook

  1. Soak the chickpeas and cook until absolutely ready. Or we do all this with beans. We drain the water, leave a couple of spoons of chickpea, chop the rest with a blender, do not add water.
  2. Cut the avocado around the perimeter, scroll in different directions, take out the stone. Choose the pulp, cut into slices or just pull out, it all depends on the degree of maturity of the avocado.
  3. We shift the avocado to chickpeas, add salt and pepper, lemon juice to them, whisk until a paste is obtained.
  4. We cut greens, we fall asleep. It is better not to grind it, otherwise the color of the snack will deteriorate. At the end we introduce the whole boiled chickpea or beans that were left.
  5. Stir the appetizer, serve it to the table. Or immediately send to bread, cracker, use as a filling.

This appetizer can be easily and quickly cooked with canned chickpeas or beans. But we choose a product in our juice without any dressings and sauces. You can add boiled or fried shrimp, they fit perfectly here.

Bean and Nuts Appetizer with Onion

A simple but very tasty boiled bean snack. It does not need to be crushed, which additionally saves time. There is a recipe for a similar salad, but fresh or pickled cucumbers are added to it, you can also try this option.

Ingredients

  • 1 red onion;
  • 1 yellow onion;
  • 1 tbsp. beans;
  • 8 g of garlic;
  • 1 bunch of greenery;
  • 0.5 tbsp. nuts
  • 1 tbsp. l olive oil;
  • 0.5 tsp hops-suneli;
  • 2 tsp lemon juice.

How to cook

  1. Soak a glass of dry beans, change the water, put on the stove, add the yellow onion and cook until tender. Drain the water, discard the onion, cool the beans.
  2. Pour nuts into a frying pan and dry. Then chop with a knife. You can use a blender, but do not chop, let the pieces remain.
  3. Squeeze the garlic into the oil, add the suneli hops, lemon juice and grind everything together.
  4. Finely chop the greens. It can be dill, cilantro, parsley, choose to your taste. Pour into beans.
  5. Add nuts and garlic oil. Stir thoroughly, salt to your liking. We shift the appetizer into a bowl.
  6. Peel the red onion. First, cut in half, and then very thin half rings. Spread on top, serve a snack of beans to the table.

If there is no salad onion, then you can use the usual yellow head, but scald the half rings with boiling water, let the water drain, and then send it for a snack.

Jewish Chickpea or Bean Appetizer

Another variation of bean paste. If you cook from chickpeas, you get hummus. But even an excellent snack for all occasions comes out of beans. The required ingredient is sesame.

Ingredients

  • 300 g chickpeas or beans;
  • 50 g of white sesame;
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • olive oil;
  • 0.5 tsp zirs;
  • salt and pepper.

How to cook

  1. Cook pre-soaked chickpeas (beans) until soft. Cool, drain immediately.
  2. Warm sesame with zira in a pan, send to a blender, add garlic and three tablespoons of olive oil. Beat until smooth.
  3. Grind boiled chickpeas, add cooked pasta with sesame seeds, pour in lemon juice and salt.
  4. Stir the appetizer thoroughly. If the consistency does not suit, add a little more olive oil.
  5. Put the appetizer on a common plate or in tartlets, grease the toasts, cracker. It is perfectly stored for several days in the refrigerator.
